Public Comment Period Closed for Draft Guidelines
The public comment period for the draft Guidelines and
Application for 2020 Resource Conservation District Financial Assistance Grants is now closed.
We anticipate the final guidelines and application to be available in mid-April. Please return to this site for updates on the program.
$135,000 in funding is available to RCDs through this solicitation for RCD
capacity-building projects. Eligible projects to increase RCD capacity include fundraising, planning,
partnership development, community education and outreach, and improving operational efficiency.
2017 RCD Financial Assistance Program
In 2017, the DOC awarded 59 grants to qualified
Resource Conservation Districts (RCDs). Consistent with the
CA Association of Resource Conservation
Districts (CARCD) Vision and
