​​​​April 26, 2023 - The California Strategic Growth Council approved the Guidelines at its April 26th meeting. SALC invites applications for projects that protect agricultural land and reduce greenhouse gases. Funding is available to cities, counties, Native American tribes, land trusts, and other governmental and non-profit entities. Read the full announcement here.​​​​​​

Round 9 (FY 2022-23) Evaluation Criteria for Providing Benefits To Priority Populations​

B​elow are links to the Priority Populations Evaluation Criteria for each of the SALC grant types. California Climate Investments are required to meet minimum levels of investments to projects that benefit residents of disadvantaged communities, low-income communities, and low-income households, collectively referred to as “priority populations.” If you are interested in applying for a grant and claiming priority benefits, you will need to complete the appropriate table.
