CEQA Projects

Every proposed project requires some level of environmental review pursuant to CEQA, unless an exemption applies. Projects as proposed may not be approved if there are feasible alternatives or feasible mitigation measures available which would substantially lessen the project's significant environmental impacts (Public Resources Code §21002).

“Analysis of Oil and Gas Well Stimulation Treatments in California” (SCH# 2013112046), required by Senate Bill 4 (SB4) in 2013, details the comprehensive regulatory program for oil and gas well stimulation treatment. This Final EIR (FEIR) is found under listings for 2015.

The following are links to CEQA documents for projects undertaken or carried out by the Geologic Energy Management Division (CalGEM, formerly DOGGR), listed chronologically and sorted by year.

Per CEQA guidelines, CEQA Notices and Documents have been submitted to the State Clearinghouse (SCH) and are available for inspection on CEQANet at the following link: https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/.
