Summer 2023 CalGEM Public M​eeting on Draft Orphan Well Expenditure Plan 

On , July 18, 2023:, CalGEM​​ gave an overview of the proposal to permanently plug and seal orphan wells using state and federal funds.​ The release began a 45-day public comment period that ended on October 4, 2023. All comments received will be considered for incorporation into the regulations.​
