Any owner or operator of an oil, gas, or injection well used for the purpose of discovery, extraction, or support of oil or gas activities.
Water in an oil, gas, or water productive formation that is brought to surface either in association of oil and gas production, or in support of such operation.
Water that is used to make up the composition of a fluid that is injected for the purpose of oil and gas extraction.
All quarterly water reports must be submitted electronically. You can send your Water Reporting Form to the following email address:
Reports are due one month following the end of every quarter.

The monthly report requirements have not changed, however the quarterly report requires specifics as to the source, quality, and treatment of all injected waters; the quality, treatment, and disposal method of all produced waters; and the source, quality, and use of all other treated and recycled waters. To better understand what data is being requested, please reference the
data dictionary document which will provide descriptions and definitions for all data used in the water report form. For example, all water related data being reported requires the following:
- If the water is untreated, is it suitable for domestic or irrigation use?
- Has the water been treated by the Operator? If so, select from a list of common methods.
