Local Community Conservation Corps Funding Program

A total of $15 million plus a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) is available in grant funds annually to certified community conservation corps for beverage container recycling and litter reduction.

Local Community Conservation Corps $20 Million Grant Program

In fiscal year 2007-2008, a maximum of $20 million is available to certified local community conservation corps for one-time capital improvement projects to increase beverage container recycling and to increase the quality of recycled material. Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis.
