Oil and Gas Maps
The Division of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources prepares and publishes both blueline and digital oil, gas, and geothermal field maps for the State of California. The maps are updated regularly. The cost for the blueline maps is $5 and color is $10. The blueline maps may be purchased in person at any district office or by mail from the headquarters office in Sacramento (see PR1S, the map index, for more information). Some maps may be downloaded in PDF format. Additionally, Well Location Database files (as self-executable DBF and MDB files) are available.
NOTE: You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or above to view and print maps downloaded from the map section. This free software may be downloaded from Adobe.
