DATA FORMATS:Well data is available in Microsoft Excel files and shapefile formats. Microsoft Excel can be saved to your computer and brought into other database software applications. Shapefiles are specific to ESRI's ArcGIS software; however, many other mapping programs have the ability to import shapefiles.

NOTE: For information not found in these tables, please contact the district office directly. If you would like to receive notification of future updates, please email jennie.catalano@conservation.ca.gov with "ADD ME" in the subject line. Updates will be sent to the email address being used in the request only.

Geothermal Maps

The Division of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources prepares and publishes oil, gas, and geothermal maps for the State of California.

NOTE: You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or above to read and print out maps downloaded from the map section. This free software may be downloaded from Adobe.
