Geosteam Back Online
Geosteam is now back online and can be used to access non-confidential scanned well records, including logs, and the viewing of monthly production and injection information.
Scanned Well and Field Data for Geysers Unit 15 Available
Technical data from wells formerly operated by GEO Operator Corporation were recently scanned and added to the Division's existing well records. These records compiled by GEO Operator Corporation while conducting operations at the Geysers Unit 15 can be accessed by clicking here.
El Centro Geothermal District Office Moves
Our geothermal district office in El Centro has moved to a new office building. The new office is located at 605 Wake Avenue, Suite 7, El Centro, 92243. The phone number remains the same
New Geothermal Forms on DOGGR Web
The Division has revised its forms for the drilling, reworking, and abandonment of geothermal wells. The forms were revised to include well information that was previously missing, to facilitate current business practices, and to make the forms more user-friendly. World Geothermal Congress Paper, April 2005
Ali Khan, District Geothermal Engineer in Santa Rosa, has developed Excel-based data-reduction and visualization tools. The tools are described in a paper presented at the 2005 World Geothermal Congress meeting in Turkey. Data from The Geysers Geothermal field are described

New Geothermal Field Designated
A new geothermal field was designated in Imperial and Riverside Counties on January 11, 2005. Named the Hot Mineral Spa Geothermal Field, it's twenty-six wells produce low-temperature geothermal resources for fish farming and spas in the area.
