These maps depict land that has become urban in yellow along with current Important Farmland data. The most current urbanization map is for the San Joaquin Valley, depicting change between 1984 and 2010. We are currently unable to update the regional maps for other regions (Sacramento and San Francisco Bay areas) due to staff reductions.
These large PDF maps can be opened in your web browser. The PDF files range in size from 6 to 17 MB. Each regional map is formatted for a 36" plotter, but can be viewed or printed in detail using the magnification control in Acrobat Reader.
