Sustainable Communities Agricultural Land Conservation (SALC) Program
The Department of Conservation is working in cooperation with the Natural Resources Agency and the Strategic Growth Council to implement the Sustainable Communities Agricultural Land Conservation (SALC) Program. The program funds agricultural land conservation with revenue from California's Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. Information on the grant program is available
Sustainable Communities Planning Grants and Incentives (SCPGI) Program
The Department of Conservation's Division of Land Resource Protection is administering the Sustainable Communities Planning Grants and Incentives (SCPGI) Program on behalf of the Strategic Growth Council. Planning Grants are awarded by the Strategic Growth Council at various times.
