Sustainable Communities Agricultural Land Conservation Program
A new program to fund agricultural land conservation, with revenue from California's Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, is under development. The Department of Conservation is working in cooperation with the Natural Resources Agency and the Strategic Growth Council to implement the program, beginning in Fiscal Year 2014-15. The Preliminary Draft Guidelines are available here.
The Department of Conservation (DOC) Statewide Watershed Program is currently administering the 2010 Watershed Coordinator Grants. No new grants are available at this time. Please check the Watershed Coordinator Grant Program page for additional information.
Sustainable Communities Planning Grants and Incentives Program
The Department of Conservation's Division of Land Resource Protection is administering the Sustainable Communities Planning Grants and Incentives Program on behalf of the Strategic Growth Council. Planning Grants are awarded by the Strategic Growth Council at various times.
