Official Earthquake Fault Zones affecting the cities of Coronado and San Diego, and southwestern San Diego County

The GIS data for this maps, as well as a graphic file of the complete map (PDF), is now available for download. The GIS formats available are MapInfo tab files, ArcInfo .e00 export files, and dxf export files. To view or use this data, the user must have a GIS software program such as ArcInfo, ArcView, MapInfo, or Intergraph installed on their computer. The GIS data include lines, points, and polygons. Metadata is available for each GIS file.

Earthquake Fault Zone GIS data consist of individual layers representing the components of the map: corner registration tics, EFZ boundary polygons, and several line files, representing different types of fault information. Each of the different components is numbered. The metadata for the GIS files explains the numbering system; it is strongly suggested that the user read the metadata file before using the data.
