Third Conference on Earthquake Hazards in the Eastern San Francisco Bay Area - Science, Hazard, Engineering and Risk 

The Third Conference on Earthquake Hazards in the Eastern San Francisco Bay Area took place October 22-24, 2008 at California State University, East Bay, Hayward Hills Campus.  This conference  highlighted information on Eastern San Francisco Bay Area earthquake hazards that has been developed since previous conferences in 1982 and 1992. The conference marked the 140th anniversary of the 1868 Hayward Fault earthquake.

Conference Proceedings Volume

A Proceedings Volume will be published as a California Geological Survey Special Publication in mid-2009. 
Conference presenters are invited and encouraged to submit papers.

Papers for the Conference Proceedings Volume are due January 15, 2009.
